At LakeRidge UMC, it is our goal to support you as you grow in faith and the knowledge of God. This Fall season we have multiple opportunities for you to do just that. See the links below for ways to plug in.
Adult Sunday School Classes
Click the image above to see the classes we offer. You can also see the classes listed below. Our Sunday School classes meet at 9:15 A.M. and 10:30 A.M. (with the exception of one 8:00 a.m. class) on Sunday morning. We hope to see you there!
8:00 a.m. Hour
This class is for all ages of people who are hungry for the deeper things of God. Focused on Biblical truths and its transformation power as we walk in obedience and discipleship. Location: Room 11
9:15 a.m. Hour
This class focuses on vibrant verse-by-verse Bible study with time for discussion and is comprised of a diverse age range. Location: Room 7
Beloved | Young Adult Class
This class is geared toward both singles and couples in their 20s/30s and studies a variety of topics focused on growing their personal relationship with God. Location: Room 8
This class is for parents and couples with children of all ages and uses a variety of books, DVD studies, and discussions to learn more about God’s plan for our lives. Location: Room 110
Mid-Lifers is a combination of fellowship, teaching, and discussion, and is geared toward people 50 to 65. Location: Room 111
This class, for both couples and singles, enjoys discussion based on engaging, practical DVD lessons, and is geared toward those in their 30s and 40s. Location: Room 10
Open to church musicians ages 18 and up. This class provides a Bible study and small group experience. Location: Bride’s Room
This class enjoys hearty discussion, rich fellowship, and serving others. The age range is primarily 40s and up. Location: Room 118
Intergenerational – couples and singles
Join us as we look at the Bible as one complete story from Genesis to Revelation. Jesus will be revealed in every aspect of this God-breathed love letter to the ones He created. Discover the joy as you align your story with God’s, as well as build community with other believers along the way. Room 11
10:30 a.m. Hour
This is a friendly, accepting class for couples, singles, and married persons without their spouses. The class is made up of a wide age range (35 to 80) and studies various books of the Bible. Location: Room 118
Crossroads enjoys building friendships and enjoying Christ-centered fellowship. Class members have children that range in ages from middle school to married with children. Location: Room 11
This class is comprised of mature adults who enjoy Biblical discussion. Location: Office Conference Room
All singles are welcome to celebrate singleness in an atmosphere of acceptance and support. Become empowered as a single adult in your journey toward spiritual, personal, and relational wholeness through Christ-centered fellowship. Location: Room 110
LakeRidge Singles are all ages and stages of singles who believe singleness does not mean being alone. We are an accepting family, encouraging one another to grow stronger in our relationship with Christ. For more information contact Cindi Heald at 806-794-4015.
At the 9:15 a.m. Sanctuary worship service. We sit as a group on the west, center side toward the back of the sanctuary.
Singles Sunday Lunch
Immediately after the 10:30 a.m. service, the 4th Sunday of the month. We gather at various restaurants for a time of fellowship, food, and fun.
The Men’s Ministry is dedicated to helping men become fully devoted followers of Jesus through Christian fellowship, learning, development of leadership gifts, and skills.
The Women’s Ministry is a vital part of the life of our church. We have numerous opportunities for study and fellowship throughout the week. For information about Women’s Ministries, contact the church office by phone at 794-4015.
United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women (UMW) come together on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Room 102 to discuss ways in which we will serve our community. These gatherings consist of fellowship, refreshments, devotions, and discussion of activities. Our purpose is to serve others through various ministries such as the collection and distribution of Homeless Hygiene Bags, UMW Thanksgiving Bake Sale, and UMW Foster Children’s Breakfast. Exercising Women – Women’s Workout
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30-9:30 a.m., Room 12
Women of all ages are invited to join us for a video-led class featuring yoga, salsa, tai chi, and other forms of exercise.
These groups meet to offer emotional and spiritual support.
